Treviso
The historical center of Treviso is just 20km away from the hotel. Art lovers will be delighted to discover the richness of the city's past and its artistic heritage, while budding gourmets will be overwhelmed by the passion with which food is prepared and consumed here. Treviso is a city of balanced contrasts: 14th century 'high' art displayed in rustic hostelries; elegant Venetian villas facing examples of cutting-edge modern architecture; major exhibitions and conferences where there are tables piled high with radicchio.As well as following the established itineraries around the principal monuments and to the places with the most evocative of the views formed by the river and its tributaries, it is also worth dedicating some time to visiting certain other attractions such as the antiques market, gourmet events where seasonal products are showcased, the old mills and the lively general market and fish market.

Venice

Venice - often said to be the most beautiful city on the planet. Famous since ancient times, this is a city that needs no introduction. Suffice to say it is a true one-off. As you would expect, there are events and shows all year round. Located just 340km away, Venice can be reached in 20 minutes on the train that leaves every half-hour from Treviso. Last but not least, there is Jesolo, the foremost resort in the north-east of Italy.

Asolo
Asolo, blessed with an exceptionally beautiful landscape, has been beloved of artists and poets since time immemorial. Rich in history and culture, Asolo is encircled by a stunning combination of hills and countryside. Close by, there are a number of other notable attractions, such as Canova, the Biron Tomb and Queen Catherine Cornaro's “barco”. The main square in Asolo is surrounded by wonderful architecture on all sides; the Captain's loggia, which houses a museum full of paintings and antiques; the Cathedral, dedicated to Santa Maria di Breda, with works by Lotto and Bassano; the 17th-century Municipal Palace and the house of Eleonora Duse. All of the following are but a short distance from the main square: the Castle of Queen Cornaro, the Venetian-born Queen of Cyprus who epitomized Renaissance Venice and who resided here along with her royal court; the fifteenth-century Church of Saint Catherine; the buildings designed by Massari (Fietta-Serena, the Town Hall and the farmhouse, as well as the delightful streets that run around the area) and the Rock of Asolo, which dominates the cityscape of the historical center.

Bassano
Crossed by River Brenta; Bassano is one of the biggest city in Veneto. It has a growing industry and a lot of cultural activities, and an ancient culinary tradition. The most famous product is the grappa, a spirit made from distillation of the residues of the wine press, produced in the historical farm next to the main bridge of Bassano.

The Brenta Riviera
Along the River Brenta, it’s possible to enjoy public cruises, from Venice to Padua or viceversa, visiting some of the Venetian Villas, summer residences of the 16th century, with stops at the monumental palaces with its legendary frescoes.Once along this waterway sailed the “burchielli”, boats that carried the Venetian nobleman; nowadays all the boats that cruise along the Brenta Canal are called “burchielli”.

La Strada del Vino (Wine Trail)
The Wine Trail meanders through the gentle hillsides that, starting at Conegliano, cross the Felettano and the Quartier del Piave before reaching Valdobbiadene, all of 42 kilometers away. A trip either along the Trail or through the surrounding hillside vineyards is a unique and fascinating experience that allows the visitor not only to savor some excellent wines and regional specialties but also to appreciate the true wonder of the landscape, taking in the beauty of the monuments and buildings that are dotted here and there over the hillsides. Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Cabernet and Prosecco are the main wine. But Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene is undoubtedly the most important white wine produced in Italy. It is instantly recognisable for its pale straw-yellow coloring and fruitiness on the nose and palate. At its best, the bouquet is also reminiscent of apples, but everything rests on the age of the wine itself - it should be drunk as young as possible.
